Advertise on Marinetrader.com.au

Advertising your business products and services on MarineTrader.com.au is a fairly simple process. Register an account with us by visiting our Sign-up page and once logged in you are able to click on the Advertising button on the right hand menu. Once in the advertising page you are able to create an Advert, set the type of advert you want then set the Bid Per Click and Daily Click Budget per advert.

Once you're Daily Click Budget has been exceeded your advert will cease to be displayed, but at Midnight AEST your ads will come alive again!.

Types of Advertisements

We have decided, at this stage, to have 2 basic types of Adverts, Graphic Banner/Blocks and Text Ads.

Text Ads

Text Adverts come in two flavours, vertical and horizontal, as seen on the right. There is a text ad slot at the top of the website and a panel on the right and also panels in the center of the site for graphic banners and also text ads. The placement of your ad is dependent on your Bid Per Click, if others have placed a higher Bid Per Click for their Advert then your Advert will be displayed below their Advert, until eventually there is no more room left on the Ad display list for the page and your Advert may not be shown at all. The main thing to remember with Text Ads - If nobody clicks your Advert, you pay NOTHING!

Graphic Ads (Banners & Blocks)

We've not yet completed the graphic advertising section of our advertising module, but we will have it completed shortly. Graphic banners will include Flash (SWF), Animated GIF, JPG, GIF and all usual graphic formats associated with graphic banners. In the meantime only Text Ads are available. Expect graphic banners to be available to advertisers late July.
