Description:Original owner regretfully selling a good safe boat. My yacht is too small
to carry it although you can put it on top of a car! Purchased in 2000,
this 2.74M Aquapro Sportsmaster RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) has seen little
use, has always been kept out of the sun and protected by a canvas boat
cover (included) when not in use.
The boat weighs 39Kgs, has 3 air chambers and can carry up to 450 kilos
(five people, say). An ideal yacht tender, the boat is designed to take
an outboard motor up to 9hp. The boat planes well two-up with a heavy Honda
8hp four stroke (not included). Aquapro claim that 'the Sportmater range of
RIBs are the ultimate in tough tenders and high performance sport boats
with aluminium hulls designed to perform exceedingly well in the toughest
conditions. They tow well as a sail boat or motor cruiser tender, and are
still light and compact enough to be deck stowed.'
This model features a rubbing strake on the keel of the hull and on the
outside and bottom of the pontoons, three point towing, lock-in oarlock
assembly, internal oar storage and davit lifting points. There is also a
zip-up bow dodger over a fuel tank stowage tray and securing strap. There
is enough space to store life jackets, etc. there, as well. The boat has an
auto bailing transom drain, removable seat incorporating stowage space,
oars, service kit and inflation bellows. It has never required repair.
I'll buy another, smaller, Aquapro when it is sold. Your money back if not
satisfied on pick-up.
