We are downsizing as we are more land based now and a smaller vessel will meet our needs. This vessel is contructed of fibreglass and was built by Supercraft in Hong Kong who now only concentrate on building 100' plus size vessels. We are not sure of the date of construction but believe it to be in the early eighties. There is a plaque in the boat naming the builder and the boat is No. 15. We are the 3rd owner and the history as we know it is she was built and powered by 2 twin 350hp petrol motors and used for several years in and around Hong Kong by an Australian owner who was working in Hong kong at the time. The owner eventually shipped her to Australia and she was used as a personal pleasure cruiser around Queensland and the Whitsundays. The vessel was later re-powered with twin 120hp motors which provided more economical cruising. The first owner had her for many enjoyable years and she was eventually purchased by a Sydney businessman and sailed down to Sydney where again she was used as a family pleasure vessel. The second owner customised the vessel and replaced built in furniture in saloon to stand alone furniture and had fitted a 6kva Seawasp generator. In 2000 we purchased the vessel and since then she has been a big part of our life. They don't make boats like this anymore and she was built to last. She seems much larger than the normal 40'vessel and boasts plenty of room and entertaining space aboard. She has been well cared for and is mechanically a1 due to our son being a marine mechanic he has always kept the motors in tip top condition. I have wanted to carry out some internal refurbishment but as we have decided to sell have put this on hold and priced her accordingly. She is coming out of water on the 24th November for her annual de-fouling and hull polish and is having some paint work done whilst out. I can't think of anything that does not work at the time of writing this. There is some dry rot in the back cabin and under the floor of the ensuit that needs fixing at some date and possibly re-lining the saloon walls.
