If the engine temperature goes above a preset alarm temperature, the TM2 alarms with a LIGHT and BUZZER. Or for a fine adjustment, simply watch the TM2’s display and note the highest temperature your engine reaches. Then set the alarm temperature a few degrees higher by using the ‘ALARM SET’ button on the front panel. You can make it as sensitive as you like! Display and Alarm temperature is programmable from 1 to125 degrees C (32 to 255 degrees F) TM2 also has an option to turn your existing dash oil light, into a Audible warning light. By tagging a wire to the engines oil light sender, whenever the oil light comes on so does the TM2s internal buzzer (not for oil gauges). Fitting a TM2 takes a few minutes and 3 simple steps 1.
