Aluminium sheets are precision profiled and configured to an exact 'stress dynamic' pattern and MIG (metal inert gas) welded. They are then fully seam welded in a TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding process that ensures maximum strength and durability. Extensive cross bracing further adds to the hulls strength characteristics to produce the strongest combination possible. This process is deemed preferable to the alternative 'stretch forming' method, which although quicker, requires a softer grade aluminium and leads to an overall thinner bottom sheet.
